Paws Forever is a boutique, family-owned and operated mobile end-of-life veterinary service, dedicated to providing gentle, compassionate and personalised care for beloved companion animals and the families who love them.

We provide peaceful at-home euthanasia for your beloved pets, allowing you and your companion to remain together in the familiar surroundings of home, where they feel safe, comfortable and loved. We can assist with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and mice.

Compassionate care, when you need it

Paws Forever is available every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays, from 8am to 10pm. We do not charge additional surcharges for weekend, public holiday or evening appointments, as we believe that families should be able to choose the time that feels right for them.

Our service areas can be found on our Areas We Service page. While we have defined areas that we regularly travel to, we understand that every family and every pet is different, and we are often able to travel further when requested. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your location.

Choosing an in-home euthanasia service means your beloved pet can be gently cared for in the place they know best — without the anxiety, discomfort or stress of travelling to a veterinary clinic. You can choose where you would like to spend these final moments together, whether that is curled up in their favourite bed, resting beside you in the garden, or simply surrounded by the people and things they love.

Here to support you before the time comes

We understand that making decisions about your pet’s end-of-life care can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate those decisions alone.

Paws Forever works alongside your regular veterinarian and is happy to provide complimentary guidance regarding palliative and end-of-life care options via phone, email or text message.

We also offer pre-euthanasia guidance and preparation advice for families who would simply like to understand what to expect, explore their options or talk through the practical and emotional aspects of saying goodbye. There is no obligation to make an appointment — sometimes having a caring conversation beforehand can provide reassurance and help you feel more prepared when the time eventually comes.

Aftercare and cremation

When the time comes to say goodbye, we can gently guide you through the aftercare options available for your pet.

Paws Forever offers individual/private cremation and communal cremation options through a dedicated and trusted animal cremation company.  We can discuss these choices with you beforehand so that you have the opportunity to consider what feels right for you, your family and your beloved companion.  We can also help with at home burial advice if this is what you choose for your pet.
